The Malamulela
Social Movement for the Unemployed is different. Our members
do not spend their time complaining about their misfortune. They
have identified excessive labour regulation as the prime cause
of unemployment. So our executive is working hard to get the labour
policy and laws changed to make them more employment-friendly.
At the same time we have set up a database to help our members
get jobs. Employers can access the following:
Information
about job seekers on our database include:
- Personal
and family particulars
- Job skills
and experience
- Job preferences
- Previous
wages
- Wages
required
- Home addresses
(proximity to place of work)
- Driver’s
licence details
If you
need staff, please phone our Call Centre at 082 234 9797 and they
will provide you with the details of job seekers who:
- Have the
job skills and experience you require
- Fall in
your required wage category
- Live in
your vicinity
- Meet your
requirements as closely as possible
If you
employ our members
Our members subscribe to our vision and principles but we are
not in a position to prevent them from following standard procedures
if they choose to do so. However, we will mediate between employers
and our members on request at a modest cost. If we do so, we will
treat every case on its merits based on reasonable rules of conduct
against the background of our vision and principles. Our aim is
to foster the best possible working relationship between employees
and their employers so that they can work together in peace and
harmony for their mutual benefit.
