BAJA PORTUGAL 31 OCTOBER - 2ND NOVEMBER 2003 This will be the Debut Event for BAT FIA Spec buggy, to be piloted by Gregoire de Mevius, 2 times World Group N Rally Champion. The event will be held 100 km from Lisbon. The event consists of a short prologue of 10km on Friday 31/10/03. The race consists of 2 laps of 200km on Saturday 01/11/03. Although this will be the 1st race in Europe for BAT, it has some distinct advantages being it's weight as well as the professional team of driver and navigator. The weight limit for 3500L Engines is 1160kg and the BAT should weigh in at 1180kgs where as most buggies in it's class are some 200kgs heavier with similar horse power GOOD LUCK to Gregoire and his team! |
